Buckhead Edmonton originally opened it doors under the name of Fins Seafood Distributors and was family owned by Doug and Nancy Sauve. The original product offering was a broad assortment of fresh and frozen seafood quickly become a mainstay in the Alberta market. Fins was purchased by Sysco in 2009 and between 2017 & 2023 Fins transitioned to a full meat and seafood processing facility gaining its Federal license early 2023.
