About Us

Buckhead Denver was established in 2004 to provide premium portion-controlled steaks and chops to Sysco Denver. Within three years, we expanded operations to support four additional Sysco Operating Companies in Montana, New Mexico, Lincoln, and Intermountain.

In 2012, we moved into a new facility that doubled the size of the original (from 7,500 sq. ft.) to accommodate larger national accounts. Our journey began with a handful of employees in a small warehouse, guided by a core philosophy: finding innovative solutions for the evolving culinary landscape of Colorado. Now we strive to be the preferred provider of high-quality proteins to foodservice establishments with a commitment to safe, high-quality products, superior service levels, and exceptional customer care.

As an industry leader in technology, cold chain management process control and packaging, we keep food safety as a primary concern at all times. Our meats are produced in state of the art production facilities that are USDA, SQF3 and FDA inspected, with an inspector onsite everyday whenever the plant is in operation. Additionally, our facilities feature a fully implemented Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) program, Standard Sanitation Operation Procedures (SSOP), a complete Food Safety and Quality Assurance staff, microbiological testing and a rigorous allergen control plan so that you can be sure the product you receive is of the highest quality.
