About Us

Originally established as Malcolm Meats in 1982, our company was founded with an entrepreneurial spirit: “Build trust and strong relationships by providing the best quality product at the best price.” We joined the Sysco family in 1999 and opened a 77,000 sq. ft. USDA-inspected, SQF Level 3 plant in Bensenville, Illinois, in 2003, later relocating to Hampshire, Illinois.

Specializing in custom wet and dry aging, portioned beef, pork, lamb, veal, specialty meats, and fresh sustainable seafood, we have expanded our facility to over 100,000 sq. ft. Our offerings now include fresh ground beef options, and we continue to enhance our capabilities and services.

Rebranded as Buckhead Chicago, we remain the trusted butcher shop for 10 Sysco Midwest foodservice companies and have recently launched a direct Buckhead Meat & Seafood service to downtown Chicago.
